This statement applies to the CampusChat.org web application, referred to here as “CampusChat”.

We currently take or are in the process of building out the following measures to ensure accessibility of CampusChat:

• Integrating accessibility into our internal policies and development practices.
• Employing formal accessibility quality assurance methods (including automated scans and manual screen reader testing).
• Providing accessibility training for our current and future staff.
• Assigning clear accessibility responsibilities within our organization.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. CampusChat is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, meaning that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard yet, as the site is currently in its beta testing phase.

We welcome your feedback on CampusChat’s web accessibility. While we are in beta, you may encounter some issues as we refine the platform.

We try to respond to feedback within a few business days. Any accessibility barrier or personal information you share with us through these channels will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and will only be used to address your feedback and improve CampusChat's accessibility.
